Lesson Aim: To help members think twice before making a choice
Ice Breaker: Share with us a decision you made that has made you happy
ever since.

1. How will you define ‘Choice’?

2. How important would you say ‘Choice’ is? Do you think it is possible
for a person to pass through life without making choices?

3. What would you say is the most important choice to make in one’s
life?

4. Abraham told his nephew Lot to make a choice in Genesis 13:8 – 11,
what would you say was the outcome of his choice?

5. Can you remember when you were faced with making a choice
between two good things? What guided your choice?

6. It may not be difficult for anyone to make a choice between good and
evil. Have you ever been faced with making a choice between two
evils? Share with us, please.

7. It may be costly to make a bad choice. How costly do you think it
would be to make a wrong choice of – a life partner, a career, a place
to live, an institution to attend, etc. have you fallen a victim of any
choices before? Share it with us.

8. How can one prevent making a wrong choice?

Prayer Session:
• Because the Holy Spirit is all-knowing, ask Him to lead you to
always make the right choice.
• Ask that the Lord will help you out of the wrong choices you have
made.
